Intake
What to expect when you call for help, or make a referral.
Our intake staff will return your call as soon as possible, and usually within 2 business days. If your message says that it is urgent, we will try to call you on the same day.
You are welcome to ask a friend, family member, school professional, or other community helper to call for you. We will take down the information they provide, then call you to complete the referral and set up an appointment for service.
Every referral is reviewed for risk and urgency. A counsellor might follow up with a phone call to discuss safety planning with you, if needed.
Community Partners
- Community partners are welcome to call and start a referral for a client. We will follow up with a call to the client, and will book a session if they would like an appointment with us.
- With the client’s consent, a community partner can call us to add additional information to any referral, and can join in the Quick Response appointment.
- With client consent, we look forward to contacting you and working as a team.
