Healthy Beginnings
Healthy Beginnings is a Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program for women needing extra support to help ensure a healthy pregnancy. Group programs provide healthy tips and nurse and dietician support. Cradlelink
This program is a Registered Nurse-led and volunteer supported weekly home visiting program for parents of infants. Cradlelink is particularly helpful for first time parents with limited support, those with risk of postnatal depression or families with multiples and those with toddlers. Parent Mutual Aid or Brighter Futures
This is a peer support group with a professional facilitator for parents of preschool children looking for support in their parenting role. Onsite childcare allows parents to hear speakers, cook together and share experiences while their children are in a quality childcare program. Call intake at 519-371-4773 to find out the location nearest you. Preregistration is required.
EarlyON Centres
These centres are places where parents or caregivers of preschool children can get an opportunity to talk to early years professionals, network with other parents and caregivers and engage in fun and educational activities with your children. View the CALENDAR for programs, times and locations.
Building Resiliency Program
This program provides children in Grey County licensed child care and camp programs with support for their social and emotional development. Early Childhood Educators provide consultation to child care staff and parents, direct service to children and workshops for staff. For concerns regarding a child’s interaction with others or ability to regulate or express their emotions, including situations where there is known or suspected trauma, call 519 371 4773 ext. 180 to make a referral.
