Welcome to Keystone!
Keystone Child, Youth & Family Services is a not-for-profit organization that supports the mental health of children, youth, and families in Grey and Bruce counties.
Keystone Child. Youth & Family Services acknowledges that we are gathered on the traditional territory Ojibway/Chippewa and Anishnabek peoples. This land is also home to the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, comprised of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation and the Saugeen First Nation. We recognize the enduring presence and deep connection of Indigenous peoples to this land – past, present, and future. We thank the many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Metis people for sharing this land with us and are grateful for the opportunity to gather and work here.
A Message from the CEO:
April 28, 2026
I am very pleased to share the addition of two exceptional leaders to Keystone Child, Youth & Family Services.
Naomi Vodden will be joining Keystone as Vice President, Clinical Programs and Services, and Katie Simpson as Director, Clinical Programs and Services.
Naomi brings over three decades of leadership in mental health and addictions, most recently serving as Director of Mental Health and Addiction Services at Brightshores Health System. She led a large and complex portfolio across hospital and community-based services, overseeing more than 250 staff and a $24M budget across 27 programs. Naomi is widely recognized for her ability to lead system transformation—expanding access to care, strengthening rural service delivery, and advancing innovative inpatient, crisis, and addiction services across Grey Bruce. Her leadership is grounded in strong partnerships, including meaningful collaboration with Indigenous communities, and deep connections across Ontario Health and provincial systems, with a clear commitment to equity, accountability, and high-quality care.
Katie joins Keystone as a highly respected clinical social worker and system leader with over a decade of experience across child protection, hospital-based care, and school mental health systems in Grey Bruce. As Clinical Manager with the Bluewater District School Board, she has led system-wide mental health strategy, clinical supervision, and coordinated responses to complex and high-risk situations. Katie is known for her thoughtful, relational leadership and her ability to translate vision into practice. She has advanced trauma-informed care, strengthened integrated service pathways, and supported more coordinated, responsive services for children, youth, and families.
The addition of Naomi and Katie represents an enormous gain for Keystone. At a pivotal time in our evolution, their combined expertise will be instrumental in advancing our clinical transformation—strengthening quality, integration, and innovation across our services. Together, they bring the leadership and vision needed to support our teams and deliver the very best care to the children, youth, and families we serve.
Naomi shares:
“ I am truly excited to be joining Keystone at such a pivotal time. My career began in children’s services, and it’s where my passion has always been rooted—supporting children, youth, and families to thrive. Returning to this work feels like coming home. I’m inspired by the transformation underway and look forward to working alongside the team and our partners to help shape a responsive, integrated system of care that meets the evolving needs of children and families.”
Katie adds:
“Stepping into this role feels very meaningful to me. I care deeply about this community, and my work has been alongside children, youth, families, and partners across Grey Bruce. I’m passionate about supporting clinicians and building programs that are compassionate, connected, and grounded in what families truly need. I’m committed to listening, learning, and contributing in a way that strengthens the strong foundation already in place. My hope is that families feel a sense of belonging and greater clarity in navigating care.”
Please join me in warmly welcoming Naomi and Katie to Keystone.
Sincerely,
David Willis

Notice to Clients, Families and Community Members:
Dear Clients, Families, and Community Members,
We recognize that ongoing global events, including the conflict in the Middle East, are having real and immediate impacts here at home, particularly through rising fuel costs and the added financial pressures many individuals and families are experiencing.
At Keystone Child, Youth & Family Services, we want to acknowledge the stress and uncertainty this can bring. For many, increased gas prices may affect the ability to attend in-person appointments or participate in services as regularly as you would like. Please know that your well-being remains our priority, and we are here to support you in ways that are responsive to your needs.
We want to remind you that Keystone is fully equipped to provide high-quality services through virtual platforms. Whether for counselling, group’s, or other supports, our team is ready to connect with you in a way that is convenient, accessible, and safe: helping to reduce the burden of travel during this time.
If you would prefer to access services virtually, or would like to explore flexible options, we encourage you to reach out to your clinician or our intake team. We are happy to work with you to find the approach that best fits your circumstances.
We remain committed to walking alongside you; through uncertainty, through change, and with care and compassion at the center of everything we do.
